Role Overview:

As our first B2B Senior Marketing & Demand Generation Manager you’ll be responsible for the activities that help us reach new potential enterprise customers. Companies like GitHub, Amazon, Facebook, Twilio, Indeed, Adobe, and Amex already count on us to reach some of the world's most talented software engineers. You'll help expand that customer base by designing, executing, and scaling demand generation campaigns that reach engineering and talent decisions makers.

This is a key role in a fast-growing startup reporting directly to the company's Co-Founder.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategy. Work with our executive team to develop a demand generation strategy including KPIs, channels, audience, budget and operational plan.

  • Drive MQLs. Develop and execute multi-channel B2B demand generation campaigns to drive enterprise leads into and through our sales funnel.

  • Collateral & Messaging. You will create and be responsible for the materials that we use to bring in new sales leads and convert them to customers. This includes email copy, decks, one-pagers, whitepapers, case studies, and ads.

  • Reporting & Analysis. You’ll forecast, measure, and analyze the campaigns you run. We’ll use this data to evaluate success, optimize performance, and project sales.

  • Content Creation. Create an engine that produces high-quality content in our brand voice that resonates with our potential customers and drives inbound leads.

  • Budget Management. You’ll be responsible for a monthly budget to spend on things like contractors and ads. You’ll report on the ROI of your marketing spend regularly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B demand generation marketing

  • Proven track record of producing results that drive revenue

  • Experience with paid and owned channels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • An interest in reimagining the future of education and work

  • Ideal candidate is located in New York City or Seattle. Open to remote candidates based in the United States.
