Major League Hacking (MLH) is rethinking technical education for the modern world. Now that every company is a technology company, we need faster and more effective ways to train the talent that everyone depends on. Our unique hands-on, community-driven approach has helped more than 500,000 technologists worldwide launch their careers and stay up-to-date with the latest trends. If you're passionate about technology, education, and the future of work – this this the place for you!
As the first Executive Assistant at MLH, you'll be the front-line defense for our leadership team and will take on key projects that benefit from your org-wide perspective. We're a small team growing quickly. We need someone who can sweat the details as we grow so our executives can focus on the bigger picture. This is a role for someone who is a clear communicator, highly organized, and enjoy figuring things out.
You'll be responsible for supporting our CEO, CCO, and COO and will be based in our New York City office (presently remote).
Responsibilities / What you'll do:
Administrative Support. You’ll support the executive team’s administrative needs like expenses, travel arrangements, and meeting scheduling. You’ll manage the executive team's calendar, acting as a gatekeeper and prioritizing matters as they come to you.
Draft Meeting Agendas, Emails, Board Decks. You’ll help the team prepare for upcoming events by creating agendas, drafting documents, and emails.
Project Management. You'll be our executive team's eyes and ears on key projects, making sure they stay up-to-date and can make decisions quickly. You'll need to work cross-functionally and keep track of lots of moving pieces.
Execute on special projects. You’ll take ownership over projects that benefit from an org-wide perspective – ranging from day-to-day business management to key strategic initiatives.
Manage the MLH NYC Office. Though we’re not yet back in the office, once we return you’ll take ownership over our office, ensuring it is the best possible environment for our team.
